memoirs from the brink

Hooray's the word of the day

I've been feeling particularly creative of late, and have made quite a series of so-so sketches, which may become better drawings or paintings in the near future. Hooray for my anthropology class! Oddly enough, I am most creative then, and as such, am filling my sketch book quickly. I swear to you that I listen--occasionally--but I just get so inspired in that class with everything that isn't anthropology-related. Oddly enough, my marks are one of the best in that class. I guess it's bringing my average up and letting the art pour from my fingers. Thanks to this class, and some inspiration spilling over from biology, I think I've come up with a good design for a new tattoo. Hooray for ANTH 111!

Also can't wait for this summer! MIDNIGHT LONGBOARD MAYHEM is certainly going to make a few nights very glorious for me. (Who's in?) DaN's brother Kevin is making me a longboard to my specs (I'm not sure I understand enough to make my own specs, but hey, it's custom for the few things I do know I want) and I get to do the artwork on it. Sweet!

And finally, a few summer session classes on the way, and then the forest (or lack there of) will make a 5 week appearance in my life. I like to call it the "skajillion-quadrillion-billion calorie-burning workout". I'm actually quite excited for it.

That is all.
